Hsinchu, Taiwan – May 10th, 2016 – MPI Corporation, the globally leading LED test & measurement solutions provider, announces the company’s LED division has officially changed its name to Photonics Automation (PA) Division in order to more accurately align with the latest product offerings within the division. The division has recently expanded product offerings and know-how into Laser Diode (LD) and Photo Detector (PD) material handling and measurement solutions. “We are excited about the growth within the robotics and measurement technology teams. These new products and technologies leverage MPI’s experiences in LED production test applications and provides these new markets with significant competitive advantages.” said Anderson Fan, Vice President of MPI Corporation. With these new product line advances, the Photonics Automation division will launch a new test and measurement series under the “SkyWalker” brand.
